Sarpy County/ESU #3 Head Start is a federally funded program that provides high-quality, comprehensive early childhood education for income-eligible children from birth to age five. Our mission is to promote school readiness and empower families to build long-term stability and success. We offer a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports children’s growth in key areas—including language, literacy, cognitive development, physical health, and social-emotional well-being.
We value parents as their child’s first and most influential teachers. Our program builds strong partnerships with families to support overall well-being, encourage positive parent-child relationships, promote lifelong learning, and ease transitions into kindergarten. Through strength-based, individualized services, we also help families access vital community resources.
