Assessment and Accreditation

Bellevue Public Schools believes accreditation is an avenue to achieving high standards while on a continuous journey of district improvement and quality assurance. The Accreditation Department leads and supports the district and its schools through a process of regular self-evaluation while engaging with the high performance standards of Cognia, the world’s largest improvement and accrediting organization. The district believes assessment provides information that guides instruction and student learning and allows educators to better understand each student’s current level of learning and to more accurately identify where a student may need support to maximize achievement. The Assessment Department leads and supports the district assessment system and its data to effectively impact student learning.
