Bellevue Public Schools offers various career and professional studies programs at the Frank Kumor Career Center, named after the long-time Board Member and supporter of the district. These programs enhance high school students' education with real-life and relevant learning experiences in collaboration with local businesses, non-profits, and industry professionals—all together at one central hub.
Students will engage in high-level, project-based, and on the job experiences and internships to demonstrate their learning in the classroom. Students will leave with valuable professional skills and relationships through programs that connect to the Nebraska career clusters and local industries and institutes of higher education.
The center currently offers the following programs: Culinary and Hospitality Program, Health Sciences Academy (includes Certified Nursing Assistant Program), and Transportation Distribution and Logistics (includes Automotive Maintenance Program). In the future, the center will offer a Skills Trades Program and an Information Technology Program with Advanced Digital Media Labs with courses in digital media, design, film-making, photography, and broadcast journalism.
The center is housed on the Lifelong Learning Center Campus at 2810 Harlan Dr., Bellevue, NE 68005.
