Education Academy

Bellevue Public Schools is excited to offer our students an opportunity to explore a career in education through the BPS Education Academy while earning dual enrollment credits through Metro Community College (MCC). The credits earned in the program will transfer to most state educator preparation programs, including the University of Nebraska Omaha. The program strives to prepare students for entry into educator preparation programs and provides participants with nearly 150 hours of in-class experience with a district mentor teacher at one of the district’s elementary or middle schools.

This program begins in the 2022-23 school year.
