BPS Partners with Blackboard for Notification System

Bellevue Public Schools uses a notification system to provide families and staff information for emergencies, inclement weather, news and happenings.

The system includes email, phone, and text messaging alerts. We use the family's contact information already provided to the school district and stored in PowerSchool (student database). If you need to make changes to your contact information, please contact your child(ren)’s school or the district enrollment center with your updated information.

Staff members contact information is pulled from Alio (staff database). Staff that would like to make changes to their contact information can complete the Name/Address Change section on the Employee Portal. Employees can access the portal from the District website www.bellevuepublicschools.org, click on the employee portal link at the top of the home page.

Blackboard's Text Messaging - Opt Out Process

Participation in this service is automatic for families and staff, you must “opt-out” if you prefer to not receive text messages to your phone. Simply text STOP to 60680 cancel.

Please note: the school district does not pay for text message charges that may be incurred by you for sending or receiving text messages. Check with your wireless carrier for possible charges.
