Always wanted to be a part of a theatre show but never had the time? One acts and ten minute play festival are for you. These student directed shows will work around your schedule. Auditions are today for One Acts from GPS-4pm. Auditions for 10 minute play festival will be Wednesday, March 22 from GPS-4pm. Nothing needs to be prepared, and no experience necessary. See you there!!
Hey juniors--the ACT is on March 21st. Do you have your number 2 pencils ready? If not, swing by The Bird Box to grab a pack--we have them stocked and ready to go!
For anyone who is interested in trying out for the Bellevue West Cheer team there will be an informational meeting tomorrow March 21st at 3:30 in the High School Cafeteria. Come ask questions about being involved with cheer and to meet coach Curtis.
If you want to miss some class, make some money, and do good for your community by saving lives, sign up to donate blood at the Student Council Blood Drive on Friday, March 31st. There will be a table at lunch you can sign up at from now until the end of the month. You must be 17 or older to donate blood, but if you are 16 and get a form signed by your guardian, you may donate as well. Donors will receive a $10 e-gift card from the American Red Cross. We hope to see you there!
Congratulations to Amelia Escalante, who competed in the State Poetry Out Loud Competition over break. Amelia won first place in the state and will be going to Washington DC to represent the state of Nebraska in the National Poetry Out Loud Competition. Wish her luck!
Congratulations to West Connection Show Choir for making finals and their tight 5th runner up finish at the Westwood Jubilation last Saturday. In addition they won caption awards for Best Opener and Best Sportsmanship ( for the second year in a row). Special congratulations to Tyler Kaliowski who defended his title and won the soloist competition for the second year in a row.
