Welcome to Bellevue West High School

My name is Kevin Rohlfs and I have been an administrator at West since 1994. I love what I do and am excited to see what each and every day brings!

While I have never stopped learning, my formal education goes back a long way. I completed my undergrad work at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and then taught and coached for 10 years. I completed my master’s degree in school administration at Creighton University and started at Bellevue West.

As a part of the staff at West I have two important responsibilities: build positive relationships with students, staff, and families and help each student find their path. I have been blessed to get to know so many great students and then get to know them again as supportive parents. When it comes to helping students find their path, we continue to look for opportunities for our students to earn career certifications, credits in the trades, and college credits. It is my goal that all students leave Bellevue West with more than a high school diploma.

I am most proud of how our students and staff strive to do their absolute best in all that they do. Whether it is our sports teams, our activities, or our students challenging themselves in our AP program. I know at the end of the day that everyone gave their best effort. While there are a lot of great schools in the Metro area, I look forward to meeting every prospective family and sharing with them why Bellevue West is a great place to achieve your goals!
