    📢 FBLA Informational Meeting
    Interested in joining Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)? There will be one last informational meeting tomorrow, August 26th, during GPS in Mr. Fischer’s room (D04).

    🎓 Senior Class Officers
    Are you interested in representing the senior class as a Senior Class Officer? This is your chance to help plan and organize senior events throughout the year! If you’d like to apply, stop by and see Ms. Redding in B16 for an application this week — anytime except 2B or 4B.

    🎭 Drama Club
    Attention students! There will be an informational Drama Club meeting TODAY (8/25) at 3:00pm in B-17. Come learn more and be a part of the fun—we hope to see you there!

    📸 Yearbook Price Increase
    Yearbook Alert! The price is currently $57, but will increase to $62 on 8/30. Don’t wait—buy yours today before the price goes up and before they sell out!

    📍 Knitting & Crochet Club
    Do you know how to knit or crochet? Or would you like to learn? Join us in B-10 on Thursday, September 4th during GPS! Bring your own supplies, or borrow some of ours. The Knitting/Crochet Club meets the first Thursday of every month. Don’t miss it!

    🎉 Fall Sports Pep Rally
    Attention Chieftain Nation! We’re kicking off the Fall Sports Pep Rally this Wednesday during GPS.
    We’ll celebrate our athletes and the start of an exciting new year. This time, the Chieftain Spirit Cup will be awarded to the class that cheers the loudest and shows spirit throughout the rally—not just during the “Do It” Cheer!
    Secret judges will be scoring each class, so pack the stands, bring the energy, and claim bragging rights. Who will take home the trophy? Be there Wednesday to find out!

    ➗ Mu Alpha Theta
    Applications are due Friday, August 29th. Reminder: the August 28 meeting is canceled. The next meeting will be September 11 during GPS in E-09. Be there or be square!

    🌎 Diversity Club
    Diversity club is meeting Wednesday, August 27th in H13. We’ll discuss upcoming opportunities, including:

    • A Film Streams field trip to A Time for Burning

    • The Youth Impact Summit

    🎳 Bowling
    Meeting on September 23rd during GPS for all students interested in Unified and Winter Bowling.

    Interested in being a class officer? Pick up a form from Mr. Donner in H05.

    🏀 Girls Basketball
    Informational meeting Tomorrow, August 26 in G-11 (Coach Lenear’s room). Be sure to create a pass on Securely to attend.

    🤼 Boys Wrestling
    Preseason strength & conditioning starts today after school. All wrestlers not in a fall sport are expected to attend. Questions? See Coach Nieman.

    🥫 AFJROTC Food Drive
    From September 4–11, bring in canned food donations! The drive wraps up at the East/West game at East.

    🍎 Lunch Reminder
    During lunch, please remain seated until the dismissal bell rings. Do not leave the cafeteria early—thank you for your cooperation!

    💃 Homecoming
    Homecoming is almost here! Be sure you meet the requirements before purchasing tickets:
    ✅ Seniors: 32 credits | Juniors: 25 | Sophomores: 12
    ✅ No more than 5 absences
    ✅ Positive behavior (no 3+ OSS days or ticketable offenses)
    ✅ Fines/fees under $100
    If you’re unsure, check with the office early—don’t wait! Let’s make this the best Homecoming yet.

    🎓 Seniors
    Who’s ready for our first college visit? 🎉
    Northwest Missouri State University will be here on Tuesday, September 3rd at 9:30 AM. Don’t miss the chance to learn more and ask questions! Please scan the QR code to sign up. You must have a pass to attend. You also will not be allowed to attend if you are failing the class that you will be missing. If you have any questions please ask.
