ACADECA FUNDRAISER: Support AcaDeca by purchasing popcorn! Members will have bags of popcorn available for sale for only $2 per bag. See an AcaDeca student or Mr. Hindman to get your hands on some delicious popcorn. Sales will be all this week. (Run through September 28th)
MU ALPHA THETA: The next Mu Alpha Theta meeting will be this Thursday in D-19. We hope to see you there! (Run through September 28th)
DIVERSITY CLUB: Our next meeting for the Diversity Club is this Friday in the Auditorium Foyer during GPS. Please email or see Mr. Coup in F12 for any questions. Come and join us and find the importance of creating a more diverse and inclusive community. (Run through September 29th)
FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES: The next meeting is this Thursday at 7:00 a.m. in G-08. Join us this week for some fun, fellowship, and good conversation. (Run through September 26th)
SWIM TEAM: For any student interested in the BEast swim and dive team, there will be a meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) at 3:30 p.m. in the pool. (Run through September 26th)
ART CLUB: The Art Club will be meeting during GPS until 4:00 p.m. this Thursday in the Art Room. Please email Mrs. Vidlak or Ms. Schutte if you are unable to attend. (Run through September 28th)
ROBOTICS CLUB: The Robotics Club will NOT be meeting today after school. We will meet next Tuesday, October Oct 3 right after school.
BEAST LIBRARY: The BEast library is hosting a book challenge and any student is welcome to participate. Read eight books from our library between now and May to be entered for a prize. Check in with Mrs. Dunkel or Mr. Bob in the library to get all the details. (Run through September 29th)
YOUTH FOR YARN CLUB: Are you interested in learning how to crochet or knit, or are you wanting to get better at it? Have you never heard of either of those two things but you'd like to find out more information? If you are interested, plan on attending an informational meeting for the Youth for Yarn Club this Friday in the Library during GPS. To attend you must get a pass from either Mrs. Holland in K02 or Ms. Rolling in B10. (Run through September 29th)
HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH: The idea to celebrate Hispanic Heritage initially began as a week-long observance in 1968 under President Lyndon B. Johnson and was later extended to a full month 20 years later by President Ronald Reagan.
This week's Hispanic Heritage Month activity is a Find the Flag activity. You can complete the activity using a QR code found on posters in the halls. You need to complete it by 3:30 p.m. on Friday (September 29th) in order to be entered in this week's drawing. (Run through September 28th)
SKILLS USA NEBRASKA: SkillsUSA is the place for you to become ready for your next level after high school. Come join us in Room H-04 to prepare yourself for what comes next in your journey. Skills USA is an individual membership organization serving middle school, high school and college/post-secondary students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations, including health occupations. Contact Mr. Cote or Mrs. Birnbaum for more information on how to join. (Run through October 9th)
FOOTBALL: If you are attending this week’s football game at Benson High School, the theme for the night is red, white and blue. Dress in your best patriotic attire! (Run through September 29th)
