Welcome to Mission Middle School!

Welcome!  My name is Jenny Powell and I am very happy to begin my 12th year at Mission Middle School. This year marks my 20th year as a principal, and my 31st in education. I have loved every minute and can honestly say, I have never been bored at my job!  My husband and I have been married for almost 29 years, and we have two wonderful teenagers. As a family, we enjoy traveling and spending time with our menagerie of animals.

Mission is a wonderful place to be! Our staff works hard to meet the needs of all of our students.  We offer counseling services, after-school programs, and a well-rounded education for our students. Our teachers and staff work hard to get to know our students and we pride ourselves on building positive relationships with them. We all look forward to working with your son/daughter in the new school year!
