Welcome to Central Elementary

I am honored and blessed to be principal at Central and work alongside our gifted staff, students, and their families!

I believe in educating the whole child (academically, socially, and emotionally). The Central staff works together extremely well and they exude an electric energy which you will feel immediately upon entering the building! This is a small community who love and support each other. We look forward to helping all our students reach their full potential as it brings the most joy to our hearts!

I was born and raised outside a small farming community called Woodbine, Iowa. I majored in physical education as well as played college soccer at Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska, where I became a Nebraskan all the way. After college, I became the manager of a children’s fitness facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. This ultimately led me to Bellevue Public Schools as a physical education teacher.  From there, I taught third grade, was lead teacher, and then became principal at Central all within the Bellevue Public Schools District where the staff are truly #ChampionsForChildren!

When not at school, you can find me attending sporting events, running, or camping with my friends, husband, and three children. We love being outdoors especially when the weather is nice, but don’t get me wrong, as a farm girl, I do appreciate a good rain!
