Welcome to Twin Ridge Elementary

I am privileged and grateful to be the principal at Twin Ridge Elementary and am fortunate to work with amazing students, families, and staff every day.

I believe that every child can learn and as educators it is our privilege to meet all students where they are. It is our job to help them to be successful in all areas of their life. The staff and I work together to ensure that we are providing the best education for our students while also helping to meet their needs. As a PBIS school, we believe in teaching all school expectations and then reinforcing the good that our students do. Our motto is “Twin Ridge Elementary School strives to help every student meet academic success and to encourage students to work to their full potential.”

I was born in the Omaha area where my parents decided to settle after my father got out of the Air Force. I attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha where I earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education. My career as an educator has had exciting twists and turns as I have taught in Lompoc, California; Colorado Springs, Colorado; and in the Omaha, Nebraska area. I earned my master’s degree in literacy from Concordia University and my doctorate in educational administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Twin Ridge is fortunate to have the support of our amazing families. We work together as a team to support our school. We have amazing relationships with our PTA and are fortunate to have a WatchDog program that helps to support students and staff during our school day. We look forward to meeting you and having you join our community.
