Important Information

  • Confirmation emails will be sent A WEEK PRIOR to summer school with the specific session, classes, and times
  • Transportation is NOT provided for students who are participating in the summer term classes
  • Lunch is NOT provided during the summer term. Students may bring a sack lunch.  A microwave is available for student use
  • Students should report to the cafeteria on the first day of summer school for room assignments
  • One credit awarded upon successful completion. Summer School courses are graded as Pass or Fail and course grades will not affect a student's GPA
  • If there are not enough students to fill a class, the course will be canceled

Students who are sent to the Dean's Office for disciplinary reasons will not be able to return to that class for the remainder of the period. The time out of class will be counted towards the 600 minutes total (see attendance policy above). Students are encouraged to monitor their breaks and return to class on time as tardiness to class will result in a loss of minutes. All school rules as stated in the Parent-Student Handbook will be enforced.
