This is my fourth year at LeMay, all of them teaching sixth grade. I am the Building Technology Coordinator, a part of the districts iPad Academy, Leadership Academy, and help with safety patrol. I am fortunate enough to have a 1:1 iPad classroom, where we integrate technology into our learning and share what we create with our families using an application called, SeeSaw. Throughout the school year students will learn to code, make a green screen project, program robots, and participate in S.T.E.M. activities and challenges.
I am originally from Lincoln, where I attended the University of Nebraska. There I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am currently working on my Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis in Instructional Technology at Peru State College.
When I am not at school, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, reading, catching up on T.V. shows, and walking the dog.
