Nebraska Association for Gifted (NAG) is Nebraska's state gifted organization. It is a non-profit, nationally affiliated, organization of parents and educators who are interested in the education of gifted youth throughout the state.

National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) is an organization of parents, teachers, educators, other professionals, and community leaders who unite to address the unique needs of children and youth with demonstrated gifts and talents as well as those children who may be able to develop their talent potential with appropriate educational experiences.

Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG) is a national organization dedicated to helping families support the emotional and social needs of identified gifted students. The organization offers a variety of resources, research, and support group offerings for parents of gifted students.

The Association for the Gifted (TAG) is part of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), a leading special education professional organization.

Parenting for High Potential is a quarterly magazine designed for parents who want to make a difference in their children's lives, who want to develop their children's gifts and talents, and who want to help them develop their potential to the fullest. Each issue will include special features, expert advice columns, software and book reviews, ideas from parents, and a pullout children's section." 

Gifted Child Quarterly publishes original research and new and creative insights about giftedness and talent development in the context of the school, the home, and the wider society 

Journal for the Education of the Gifted offers information and research on the educational and psychological needs of gifted and talented children.

Roeper Review covers topics that focus on the gifted such as the middle school, gender issues, developmental phases, at-risk students, learning disabled, creativity, problem solving, and school reform and its impact.

SENG: Supporting Emotional Needs of Gifted supports unique social and emotional needs of gifted individuals, which are often misunderstood or ignored. This organization provides both parent and student support resources.

Hoagie's Gifted Education Page contains links to gifted education resources all over the world. It includes many resources for parents, students, and teachers.

Frances A. Karnes Center for Gifted Studies located at the University of Southern Mississippi is a college research center dedicated to furthering the education of gifted students and leadership abilities through teaching, research, and services.

The Belin-Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development empowers and serves the gifted community through exemplary leadership in programs, research, and advocacy. It is a premier research facility for gifted education located at the University of Iowa.

The National Research Center on Gifted and Talented (NRC/GT), sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, investigates, develops, and disseminates new methods for identifying and teaching gifted students. The NRC/GT, located at the University of Connecticut, is run collaboratively with the University of Virginia and Yale University, and works in conjunction with more than 300 public school district research study sites.

Gifted-Children.com: An on-line parents' newsletter offering networking and information about educating kids with special talents and abilities.

GT Worldis an on-line support community for parents of Gifted and Talented children.

The Gifted Development Centerserves parents, schools, and advocacy groups with information about identification, assessment, counseling, learning styles, programs, presentations, and resources for gifted children and adults.

Davidson Institute for Talent Development is currently one of only two national foundations supporting the profoundly gifted population. The Davidson Institute's mission is to recognize, nurture and support profoundly gifted young people and to provide opportunities for them to develop their talents in positive ways to create value for themselves and others.    

University of Connecticut Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development The University of Connecticut and the projects that have originated there have been important in rethinking who we identify and how we serve gifted students.
