Attention Juniors! Interested in serving on the Junior Class Board in order to have an impact on the school and help to plan Prom? Please see Ms. Halstead in room D-24 to pick up an application. Applications are due Friday, August 23rd.

The first DECA chapter meeting of 2019 will be this afternoon during GPS in Room F03.  Please come and learn about the exciting events and travel opportunities this year in DECA!  Snacks will be provided. Please see Mrs. Danauskas in F03 for a GPS pass to attend.


Sophomores:  Would you like to be a sophomore class officer?  You can gain valuable leadership skills, help promote school spirit in the sophomore class, contribute to a positive culture at East, add it to your college resume, and have fun!  If you're interested, please see Mrs Pribyl in the Counseling Office for an application. Applications are due September 6th.

Attention Freshmen! Are you interested in serving on the Freshmen Class Board in order to have a positive impact on the school, help fundraise for your future Prom, gain leadership skills and have fun? Please see Ms. Logan in D-21 to pick up an application.  Applications are due Friday, September 6th.

There will be an art club meeting on Wednesday, August 28th, at 3:30 p.m. in the art room. The meeting should end by 4:30 p.m.

Are you enrolled in or interested in German and Germany?  Then join us for our first meeting next Tuesday, August 27th, right after school in B11.  Come one, come all!

Attention Drama Club Members:  The Drama Club Prologue Picnic is set for this Sunday, August 25th, at noon at Washington Park. This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow Drama Club members and meet some new friends!  See Mr. Hamik in B-17 to RSVP. We hope to see you there!

A UNO representative will be at East on Thursday, September 5th, at 9:00 am in the Auditorium to discuss dual enrollment, answer questions and begin the fall registration.  All students interested should plan to attend and invite their parents as well!

Get a blue pass in the Counseling Office at least one day in advance. Seniors: If you want a transcript sent to a college, technical school or the military, you must have a release on file with the Counseling Office.
