Welcome Back to the 2017-2018 School Year!!

We are excited to welcome all of our new students and to welcome back our 8th graders to the start of the 2017-2018 school year!  The staff and I look forward to a wonderful school year!

We have had many questions about schedules.  Schedules will be mailed out next week.  If you have any questions about your schedules, contact our office and we can answer any questions you might have about the school day.

Our Family Information Night will take place on Thursday, August 17th, from 6:00-7:00 PM.  This is an opportunity for you to meet the teachers and for them to share important information about their team and grade level with parents and guardians.  The following is the schedule for 17th:

6:00-6:40    Team Phoenix will meet in the cafeteria

Team Intrepid will meet in room 106

6:45-7:00    Visit Elective Classes

8th Grade

Team Avengers will meet in rooms 204-206

The official school year begins on Thursday, August 10th.  Students who choose to eat breakfast may enter at 8:00 AM. Entry times into the building are: 7th grade enters at 8:20, and the 8th grade students enter at 8:23.  School is dismissed at 3:55 PM.

Your son/daughter will receive a copy of the parent/student handbook on the first day.  There are some forms you will need to sign and return to the school as soon as possible.

Information on the dress code and the supply list can be found in the next two articles.

At Mission Middle School, we are very committed to helping our students succeed, keeping them safe, and giving them a sense of belonging to our school community.  We sincerely hope that this will be wonderful year for both you and your family.
