Driver Education

As a service to the students at Bellevue East, we coordinate a driver training program offered by All-Metro Driving School.  They operate in our classrooms and run their behind-the-wheel training starting and ending at our campus.  Students will hear announcements about upcoming classes with instructions to sign up in the Counseling Office.  The student must have a learner's permit before the first day of class and some driving experience.  The cost is $325 payable on the first day of class.  This includes 8 classroom days and required driving time, as well as testing and certification that can be used to qualify for the provisional operator's permit at the Nebraska DMV office in Papillion.

The normal schedule runs for 4 weeks on Mondays and Wednesday with classes starting at 3:30 and ending at 6 pm.  The behind-the-wheel sessions are done separately at times selected during class.  Sign up at allmetrodrivingschool.com.

Class dates for the 2017-2018 school year are as follows (subject to change):

Session 1:   September 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27, October 2, 4

Session 2:

Session 3:

Session 4:

Sessions for the summer will also be offered. The summer sessions will be compressed into a shorter frame and the hours for classes will be from 7:30 to 10:00 am with eight class days. Again, behind the wheel times will be in addition to the classroom times and worked out with the teacher.
