Veterans' Day Parade

Join Bellevue Public Schools’ on Saturday, November 11, at 10 a.m. for the 18th Annual Nebraska's Official Veteran's Parade, as we pay tribute to our service personnel and their families who defend our country.

Any BPS student, parent, staff or retiree is welcome to participate in the Veteran's Parade with the district. If you wish to participate as an individual/family, please meet at Bellevue East High School by 9:00 a.m., to ride a school bus in the parade. If you wish to walk in the parade, you can still meet us at Bellevue East and we will take you to the lineup area for the schools (Central Elementary School).

All Bellevue Public Schools’ entries (bands, JROTC, spirit squads, schools, buses, etc.) will line up on Jackson Street next to Central Elementary School. The parade route will be on Mission Avenue beginning at Jackson Street. 

There will be a chili feed at First Baptist Church Bellevue following the parade until 1:00 p.m. in their Family Life Center (112 E 23rd Ave.)  All proceeds with go to the Bellevue Public Schools' FASE Team. The BPS FASE Team plays a vital role in supporting students in the educational setting. They are a link between the home, school, and community to promote and support students’ academic and social success.
