Meet Our Principal

No one loves learning more than an educator. In fact, they are so passionate about it that they pass it on to their students. It’s that love for learning that prompted Mrs. Whitney to step outside of the classroom and into the Principal’s Office at Twin Ridge Elementary School.

Twin Ridge has a New Vision for Student Learning

Twin Ridge is continuously in a cycle of improving instruction and providing support for the success of all students. The Twin Ridge staff recently developed a draft expressing our vision for student learning and supporting beliefs. As parents, you are a very important part of the team that provides effective education to your children and your input into the development of our vision and beliefs is very helpful. Please read the following draft and make any suggestions/comments you may have as we move towards finalizing this phase of our school improvement process.

The Story of Twin Ridge

The Bellevue Board of Education purchased land for a school on the eastern side of the Twin Ridge housing development after a $1,000,000 bond issue was approved in early 1963. The Bellevue Board of Education decided to name the new school Twin Ridge after the development.
