Operation Read 2012

Elementary students gathered for a morning of fun and learning. About 325 readers from all 15 elementary schools arrived at the Lied Activity Center, ready to answer questions about the ten books they had been reading and studying.

SOAR (Student Online Achievement Resources) is on online resource for students and parents. With the click of a mouse SOAR takes the child to a virtual classroom. Students can view state assessments, test to see their strengths and areas where they need improvement, and work on tutorials.

The Story of Twin Ridge Elementary School

The Bellevue Board of Education purchased land for a school on the eastern side of the Twin Ridge housing development after a $1,000,000 bond issue was approved in early 1963. The Bellevue Board of Education decided to name the new school Twin Ridge after the development.
