The Bellevue Middle School English Open second annual challenge was held at Lewis and Clark on November 4. Mission won the 7th grade division, Logan Fontenelle won the 8th grade division, and Lewis and Clark had the highest overall score and won control of the traveling trophy.

SOAR (Student Online Achievement Resources) is on online resource for students and parents. With the click of a mouse SOAR takes the child to a virtual classroom. Students can view state assessments, test to see their strengths and areas where they need improvement, and work on tutorials.

The Story of Logan Fontenelle Middle School
Logan Fontenelle was the last chief of the Omaha nation, and was well known in the history of this part of Nebraska. When it came time to name Bellevue's new middle school in December of 1965, the Board of Education chose Logan Fontenelle - the name recommended by the schools' students.
