Learning Community Offers Open Enrollment
The Learning Community Law provides students in grades K-12, living in Douglas or Sarpy counties with the opportunity to enroll in any school, as long as a school has not reached capacity. The open enrollment application process begins January 15, 2010 and concludes on March 15, 2010

Students at Logan Fontenelle Middle School can't miss their principal walking the halls - he rises above the rest! Mr. Schaefer says he's "ecstatic" about being Logan's principal. "It's a great school, the staff is unbelievable and the students are some of the best around."

The Story of Logan Fontenelle Middle School
Logan Fontenelle was the last chief of the Omaha nation, and was well known in the history of this part of Nebraska. When it came time to name Bellevue's new middle school in December of 1965, the Board of Education chose Logan Fontenelle - the name recommended by the schools' students.
