2010 Freedom Walk and Run

Bellevue Public Schools will hold the fifth annual Freedom Walk at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Bellevue Public Schools/Offutt Air Force Base Lifelong Learning Center. The Freedom Run will be held at the Lied Activity Center on Saturday, September 11, 2010, 8:30 a.m.

SOAR (Student Online Achievement Resources) is on online resource for students and parents. With the click of a mouse SOAR takes the child to a virtual classroom. Students can view state assessments, test to see their strengths and areas where they need improvement, and work on tutorials.

The Story of Logan Fontenelle Middle School

Logan Fontenelle was the last chief of the Omaha nation, and was well known in the history of this part of Nebraska. When it came time to name Bellevue's new middle school in December of 1965, the Board of Education chose Logan Fontenelle - the name recommended by the schools' students.
