Operation Read 2012

Elementary students gathered for a morning of fun and learning. About 325 readers from all 15 elementary schools arrived at the Lied Activity Center, ready to answer questions about the ten books they had been reading and studying.

Elementary HAL Students Excel

The Elementary HAL students had the opportunity to write for authentic audiences as they participated in a writers' workshop, and also participated in the WordMaster Challenge.

SOAR Provides Tutorials and Worldwide State Assessments

SOAR (Student Online Achievement Resources) is an online resource for students and parents. With the click of a mouse SOAR takes the child to a virtual classroom. Students can view state assessments, test to see their strengths and areas where they need improvement, and work on tutorials.

The Story of Fairview Elementary School

Fairview Elementary School is located on Fairview Road, which crosses most of Sarpy County and goes through Fairview Township. There was a time when a town, a school, and a church were named Fairview. The Fairview Cemetery still exists.
