Operation Read 2012

Elementary students gathered for a morning of fun and learning. About 325 readers from all 15 elementary schools arrived at the Lied Activity Center, ready to answer questions about the ten books they had been reading and studying.

SOAR (Student Online Achievement Resources) is an online resource for students and parents. With the click of a mouse SOAR takes the child to a virtual classroom. Students can view state assessments, test to see their strengths and areas where they need improvement, and work on tutorials.

The Story of Bertha Barber Elementary School

In 1951, after a successful $30,000 bond vote, the Bellevue Board of Education purchased three sites for future schools to meet the demands of a rapidly growing community.
